Mourad Fouad is an Egyptian artist born in 1975, specialized in surrealism, whose work explores the depths of the human condition through dreamlike and emotionally powerful pieces. Trained in architecture and urban planning, he discovered surrealism in 2000, which transformed his artistic practice.
Since his first solo exhibition in 2001, he has combined realistic, impressionist, and surrealist influences to create captivating pieces, using illusions, distortions, and the juxtaposition of incongruous elements to invite the viewer to reflect and feel.
Based in Quebec since 2017, Mourad Fouad draws new inspiration from local cultural diversity and shares his knowledge by teaching art. His artistic approach aims to transcend cultural barriers, raise awareness of human and social issues, and provoke deep emotion in the viewer.
